Katherine Graff, BFA, BMT, MTA
With over twenty years experience in working with people with developmental disabilities, and over thirty years of musical experience, becoming a music therapist was an easy choice for Katherine.
Katherine works from the models of creative music therapy and community music therapy – her philosophy is that everyone should have a chance to be creative – and that music and the arts can be a bridge to integrating our society. Her resume includes many years of piano teaching, which explains why she has excelled at teaching adapted lessons. Katherine also works well with young children – using music to engage and facilitate communication.
She is an accredited member of the Canadian Association for Music Therapy (CAMT) and the Music Therapy Association of British Columbia (MTABC).
